Office of Border Public Health 2024 Adolescent Health Conference

Our dedicated team from Texas Is Ready provided an enlightening and informative session on "School-based Sex Education in Texas" at the 2024 Border Public Health Adolescent Health Conference held in El Paso. The session drew an impressive crowd of around 100 parents and professionals keen to engage in this thought-provoking and educational event. In addition to the main session, Kassy Castillo, a Program Coordinator at Healthy Futures, delivered a captivating presentation specifically tailored to the teen audience, focusing on the importance of "Healthy Relationships." Her engaging presentation resonated with the young audience, providing valuable insights and information.

These significant contributions from our team exemplify HFTX's unwavering dedication and commitment to advancing comprehensive sexual and reproductive health education across the state.
