The session drew an impressive crowd of around 100 parents and professionals keen to engage in this thought-provoking and educational event. In addition to the main session, Kassy Castillo, a Program Coordinator at Healthy Futures, delivered a captivating presentation specifically tailored to the teen audience, focusing on the importance of "Healthy Relationships." Her engaging presentation resonated with the young audience, providing valuable insights and information.

Join the Adolescent Health Initiative (AHI) and Children's Hospital of Los Angeles (CHLA) for a webinar on Thursday, June 20 at 1:00 pm CST. The webinar will focus on the Justice for Youth in Schools Sparks+ series, a tool for educators and administrators to spark conversation about racism in schools and promote healing.

Through this training, participants will identify the impact of oppression and structural barriers on adolescent physical and mental health, recognize the importance of incorporating healing spaces, services, and systems, and create an action plan to utilize these Sparks+ with their school communities.

Healthy Futures of Texas will be hosting the 2024 Dallas Healthy Teen Conference on Friday, June 21st from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The conference will take place at Dallas College's Mountain View Campus. This event is free for all participants, and complimentary snacks, lunch, and door prizes will be provided.

There will also be FREE mobile clinic testing by Dallas County Health and Human Services from 11:30am to 4:00 pm.
