Me? A small-town farm girl from Pasco, WA standing in the Oval Office?

Being thanked by President Trump himself for the work I’ve done for our
veterans?

It never crossed my mind, never in my wildest dreams.

Nor did it ever cross my mind that I would be running for a seat in the United
States Congress.

But that’s exactly the position I find myself in today.

To understand how we got here, let me tell you a little bit about my story.

April 6, 2005 started like any other day. I went to work as a triage nurse
while my husband Scotty was serving our country in Iraq as an infantry officer
in the U.S. Army.

Then, I received the call every military spouse dreads: Scotty was in a
suicide bomber explosion, and they didn’t know if he was going to make it.

From that moment on, I became my husband’s biggest advocate. After the
military wanted to throw him aside like trash, I fought the bureaucracy in
Washington DC that puts special interests before our veterans -and we won!

Today, I find myself on a new battleground – and I’m charging to the front
lines on behalf of Washington families against lawlessness, reckless spending,
homelessness, skyrocketing health care costs, and crumbling schools.

I need your help to win this battle.

For too long, this district has been represented by a fake Republican who
voted toimpeach President Trump against the wishes of the district.

In fact, the Democrats even call him a “useful patsy.”

Unlike Dan Newhouse, I won’t roll over the second the radical Left applies
pressure.

I’ve shown this country I can fight for our veterans, and now, I’m ready to
fight for the people of my district.

I was a voice for my husband when he didn’t have one...


...a voice for military families across the nation...


... and now I’m ready to be a voice for families in the Congress.
