[In a true show of confidence, President Obama endorses Joe Biden ... now that Biden has the primary nomination.]

"Former Vice President Joe Biden got a jolt of momentum on Tuesday after securing an endorsement from former President Obama, who plans to go to work right away as a fundraiser and top surrogate for the campaign." [Read the full story from The Hill. <[link removed]> ]

Now that the Democratic primary nominee is clear, President Obama is ready to make his endorsement in the 2020 election. Unsurprisingly, he didn't choose the candidate from the opposing party; he selected Joe Biden.

Joking aside, it seems that -- as The Hill reported <[link removed]> -- President Obama will play an active role in the campaign. A fundraising email went out under his name shortly after his endorsement was announced. There's also talks of him doing joint media appearances or online fundraising events for Biden 2020 too.

The involvement of President Obama could be the boost that Biden's increasingly lackluster campaigning needs -- although admittedly much of the challenge the campaign faces are due to the restrictions in place due to COVID-19 and the country's (rightful!) focus on our shared challenge.

"The president has previously indicated he would consider cutting U.S. funding to the WHO entirely. The agency has also come under fire from U.S. lawmakers for allegedly whitewashing Chinese government mismanagement of the coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan, which has since spread into a pandemic." The World Health Organization (WHO) has faced criticism from President Trump and American lawmakers for its response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now President Trump has paused U.S. funding for WHO until a full review is complete.

As National Review reported <[link removed]> , the President was straightforward in his critique: "The silence of the WHO on the disappearance of scientific researchers and doctors, and new restrictions on the sharing of research into the origins of COVID-19 in the country of origin is deeply concerning. Especially when we put up by far the largest amount of money."

President Trump continues to show the decisive leadership Americans have come to expect from him in this time of crisis, at home and abroad.

"On Tuesday, Attorney General Bill Barr issued a strong warning to political officials across the nation for targeting the faithful in the midst of social distancing and lockdown measures combating the China-originated novel coronavirus, or COVID-19." Some areas made national news this week for their response to religious institutions offering drive-up services to comply with COVID-19 social distancing rules while still bringing together Americans of faith.

Attorney General Barr has made clear that the President supports Americans of faith in these uncertain times -- and that's is the right and constitutional choice to do so.

As the Daily Wire reported <[link removed]> , the AG's letter said: "[E]ven in times of emergency, when reasonable and temporary restrictions are placed on rights, the First Amendment and federal statutory law prohibit discrimination against religious institutions and religious believers. Thus, government may not impose special restrictions on religious activity that do not also apply to similar nonreligious activity."

"But, if states decide to have all-mail election, I hope they will put in the right kind of rules to minimize the opportunity to engage in fraud rather than putting in rules that will make it easy to commit. As Election Day draws closer, it's likely we'll hear more politicians calling for voting by mail, instead of in-person, in 2020 due to concerns about COVID-19.

Now that the Democratic primary nominee is clear, President Obama is ready to make his endorsement in the 2020 election. Unsurprisingly, he didn't choose the candidate from the opposing party; he selected Joe Biden.

Joking aside, it seems that -- as The Hill reported <[link removed]> -- President Obama will play an active role in the campaign. A fundraising email went out under his name shortly after his endorsement was announced. There's also talks of him doing joint media appearances or online fundraising events for Biden 2020 too.

The involvement of President Obama could be the boost that Biden's increasingly lackluster campaigning needs -- although admittedly much of the challenge the campaign faces are due to the restrictions in place due to COVID-19 and the country's (rightful!) focus on our shared challenge.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has faced criticism from President Trump and American lawmakers for its response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now President Trump has paused U.S. funding for WHO until a full review is complete.

As National Review reported <[link removed]> , the President was straightforward in his critique: "The silence of the WHO on the disappearance of scientific researchers and doctors, and new restrictions on the sharing of research into the origins of COVID-19 in the country of origin is deeply concerning. Especially when we put up by far the largest amount of money."

President Trump continues to show the decisive leadership Americans have come to expect from him in this time of crisis, at home and abroad.

Some areas made national news this week for their response to religious institutions offering drive-up services to comply with COVID-19 social distancing rules while still bringing together Americans of faith.

Attorney General Barr has made clear that the President supports Americans of faith in these uncertain times -- and that's is the right and constitutional choice to do so.

As the Daily Wire reported <[link removed]> , the AG's letter said: "[E]ven in times of emergency, when reasonable and temporary restrictions are placed on rights, the First Amendment and federal statutory law prohibit discrimination against religious institutions and religious believers. Thus, government may not impose special restrictions on religious activity that do not also apply to similar nonreligious activity."
