Reminder: Thursday, May 20th, 2024 at Noon: Tea Time Meeting at Bay Breeze Restaurant in Hendersoville. 1830 Asheville Hwy, Hendersonville, NC 28791 Agenda This is a planning meeting to Take Action. Bring notebook or your computer! Who's on board to help (who's not) with fixing the inappropriate and very insulting "Welcome to Hendersonville" mural. (See DEI infiltrates City of Hendersonville to the Detriment of All of Us) Folks getting pretty fed up: Fed Govt finally drafts a new law: Dismantling Meritocrary: [link removed] NC drafted Legislation S906, S374 and H409 are not in the best interest of Henderson County or for our state. These bills are a recipe for disastrous consequences for our economy and our quality of life. They give ‘General Assembly cover’ to our Commissioners to continue their irresponsible growth that leads to county area annexation, an excuse to do away with zoning restrictions, and potentially creates an untenable water shortage (as it did in Buncombe).
