“Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:2
Friend,

This past week I volunteered at my church’s Vacation Bible School, where the focus was teaching children about God’s rock-solid truth in a world of shifting sands. I couldn’t help but think that although it was important for the kids to be hearing this message, there are so many adults who need to hear it too.

It is a reminder we all need, especially in the world today.

Shifting sands are all around us - trends and opinions that change in the blink of an eye. It’s impossible to follow, and it leads to nothing but emptiness and frustration.

But when we look at God, we see rock-solid truth. Reliable and clear. It never changes.

His rock stands the test of time. We are meant to build our lives on it because it is solid, unshakeable.

Following Him is not always easy, but it is always worth it. He is a firm foundation and will never let us down. No matter what the world says, we can turn back to His Word and trust that it will never change.
