Zeldin Cares Launches Pages of Promise Initiative in Brooklyn

Earlier this week, in Brooklyn, Zeldin Cares launched our Pages of Promise Initiative, aimed at promoting literacy and empowering families. We distributed over 300 books to community members in Bedford Stuyvesant. Thank you to Rehoboth Cathedral, Bishop Gerald Seabrooks, NYPD Community Affairs, and many others for making this event a success!

Wrapping Up This Year’s Dakota Project

Zeldin Cares, Arctix, and the Bruderman Family Foundation wrapped up the inaugural year of the Dakota Project. We participated in many amazing distribution events with great, qualified charities across the state and country. We shipped over 108,000 new coats, boots, pants, gloves, hats, and more to Americans in need.

Teaming Up with Great Organizations in Yonkers

Zeldin Cares sponsored a "Boys Wear Ties Too" mentorship brunch in April with Pamela's Big Heart Foundation and other local organizations in Yonkers. We provided ties for dozens of junior and high school boys to dress for success, along with an opportunity to build relationships with great community mentors.

In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, we spearheaded an impactful event promoting mental health resources with experts and organizations in Yonkers. We also had the pleasure of hosting a “Girls Have Tea Parties Too” celebration, to provide young girls with the opportunity to meet with community mentors while dressing up and sipping tea.
