THERE IS PLENTY TO BE EXCITED ABOUT MOVING FORWARD!
John,
The 2024 Libertarian National Convention was truly historic. We generated
more press coverage and created more potential partners in the political
sphere than ever before in our mission to BECOME UNGOVERNABLE in DC.
While our invited speakers and elected nominees will be topics of
conversation for years to come, there is SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE TO BE
EXCITED ABOUT as we move forward.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. spoke before our Vice Presidential Debate, which was
followed by remarks from Vivek Ramaswamy and a debate between Vivek and
Clint Russell.
WE'VE NEVER BEEN INVOLVED IN A DEBATE THAT WAS MORE RELEVANT, OR POPULAR.
Clint and Vivek both spoke intelligently, making clear where they agreed
and disagreed.
Rather than attack GOP straw man talking points, Clint defended our
principles against the best the GOP has to offer and came out on top in
front of the world's top press. THIS SHOULD BE VIEWED AS AN ABSOLUTE WIN.

Saturday's address from Donald Trump was also a successful endeavor. We
secured a commitment from him to FREE ROSS ULBRICHT AND TO PUT A
LIBERTARIAN IN HIS CABINET, while also making it clear where we disagree
with him.
Only time will tell whether he follows through. Regardless, WE SHOULD
CELEBRATE THE SHIFTING OF THE OVERTON WINDOW TOWARD OUR CAUSES.

Sunday brought a 16-hour meeting and 7 rounds of Presidential voting. In
the end, delegates nominated Chase Oliver for President and Mike ter Maat
for Vice President.
This ticket presents a FANTASTIC POLITICAL OPPORTUNITY FOR THE PARTY.
Joe Biden was the only major candidate to give us the cold shoulder and to
not publicly commit to freeing Ross. He is also horrible on foreign policy.
Chase has the opportunity to make Joe Biden pay for not taking Libertarians
seriously by taking votes from the anti-war left.
I will do everything in my power to ensure Chase has all the resources he
needs to maintain our strong polling presence, and to PULL PROTEST VOTES
FROM THE LEFT in areas that will hurt Biden the most.

Some of you reading this may be asking "What impact can the Libertarian
Party make in such a crowded race?"

Department of Education, and putting a Libertarian in his cabinet.
RFK Jr. also committed to Freeing Ross Ulbricht and has made major
improvements to his messaging to appeal to libertarians, as well. By
keeping a good relationship with him, WE CAN HELP OUR DOWN-BALLOT
CANDIDATES NATIONWIDE RETAIN BALLOT ACCESS IN THEIR STATES.
By targeting disgruntled Biden supporters on the issue of war with Chase's
campaign, WE POSITIVELY AFFECT THE 2024 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION IN NUMEROUS
WAYS.
MAKE THE MOST OF THIS OPPORTUNITY BY CONTINUING TO SUPPORT THE LIBERTARIAN
PARTY AND SETTING US UP FOR MORE LOCAL AND COALITION WINS IN THE COMING
YEARS.
