**Soaring Drug Crime Strangling Dallas**
Drug crime is up all across Dallas as the city wrestles with its culture of crime. So far this year, there have been 3,929 drug offenses recorded in Dallas. The Dallas Express
**reports** [link removed] that this amounts to nearly 26 drug busts every single day. The situation is untenable.
**Dallas has been denied safe streets through brazen criminal acts, and the City Council refuses to act.**
These drug offenses have steadily climbed despite recent headlines [link removed] that speak of reduced crime. By and large, local legacy media, like the
**Dallas Morning News**,????refuse to report the facts; Dallas has only become more dangerous, and the City Council's apathetic response is to blame.??
City Council District 7, represented by Adam Bazaldua, has seen an 80% spike in drug offenses-
**which translates to 602 logged offenses in his district since the beginning of the year.??**
Yet, Councilman Bazaldua has barely acknowledged the issue! It was apparently more relevant to
**tweet** [link removed]
**about a politically motivated prosecution halfway across the nation rather than face the devastation wrought by crime in the community he represents!??**
Now is the time to pressure Council members like Adam Bazaldua who refuse to act! Use the button below to contact your Council member's office and tell them you will no longer tolerate this acceptance of high crime!
**Demand a stronger response from Dallas, showing we are not accepting illicit behavior!**

**Dallas Officials Collude With Developers Making Vagrancy Worse??**
Dallas officials are seeking to partner with private developers to provide housing for vagrants. Those in charge of Dallas's homeless crisis are ignoring the fact that so many vagrants refuse to be housed.
**Spending millions on "industrialized housing" will only spell disaster for that area of the City. Dallas needs real solutions!**

"
**Canton Crime Camp**"
This camp in Jesse Moreno's District????has been dubbed "Canton Crime Camp." In the shadow of City Hall, vagrancy runs wild on streets like Canton. This photo is one example of how these vagrants have overrun this sidewalk.
**Dallas's government district should be something we take pride in; instead, many of us have to avert our eyes to the urban decay on display here.**
District 11 Councilwoman Jaynie Schultz
"
**635 Underbelly Camp**"
This camp in Jaynie Schultz's District 11 has earned the title "635 Underbelly Camp." There are numerous vagrant camps along the I-635 corridor; this is just a singular example illustrating the life these vagrants set up for themselves. Living in the underbelly of an interstate is far from safe.
**Why does Dallas continue to tolerate this behavior in our once-great city?**

**"Vagrant's Revenge Camp**
**"**
We named this camp in Jaynie Schultz's District 11 "Vagrant's Revenge Camp." Last week, we covered how the camp across the highway was "cleaned up." The vagrants moved to the other side and are still trashing the area.
**Councilwoman Schultz has refused to acknowledge this as an issue; unfortunately for all, this is one of the most visible vagrant camps in Dallas.**

**Mission Statement:**
Keep Dallas Safe exists to address crime and homelessness in Dallas with the goal of transforming Dallas into the safest large city in Texas for residents and businesses. We aim to have a City Council that prioritizes crime rate which directly determines the quality of life in Dallas. We do this by fighting against the "defund the police" movement, holding accountable our city leaders' efforts towards lowering district crime rates, and highlighting our city's homelessness problems by pushing for enforcement of the prohibition of urban camping.
