Check this out, friend.
Joe McGraw, Eric’s MAGA opponent, recently hosted a town hall where he said some things that raised our eyebrows.
In fact, McGraw seemed to flirt with the great replacement theory – a far right conspiracy theory spread by the likes of Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham. Here’s part of what he said, when asked about the influx of migrants at the southern border:
“There are a lot of theories. What I can say is it is changing our nation. Whether that is being done consciously or wanting to change the nation, the demographics, the culture … These are facts.”
For good measure, he added:
“You can see … this huge influx of immigration, [and] draw your own conclusions as to whether that's by design.”
Friend, IL-17 needs a representative who will offer real, pragmatic solutions to our immigration challenges — not someone dabbling in fringe conspiracy theories.
As scary as it sounds, our race against McGraw is considered a dead heat. If we don't step up now, there's a real chance this kind of far-right hate reaches Congress.
Will you contribute $10, or whatever you can, to help ensure we re-elect Eric Sorensen -- a trusted voice in this district -- and not a conspiracy monger like Joe McGraw? [ [link removed] ]
