We are thrilled to announce that Chase Oliver has officially been selected
as the Libertarian Party’s candidate for President of the United States,
with Mike ter Maat as his running mate for Vice President. This dynamic duo
is READY TO LEAD OUR NATION TOWARDS A FUTURE GROUNDED IN LIBERTY,
INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS, AND TRUE JUSTICE.
Chase Oliver, a 37-year-old Libertarian activist living in Atlanta, has
been dubbed “…the most influential Libertarian in America…” by
Rolling Stone. He is a champion of the rights of the individual against the
growing power of the state. His journey began with his political activism
opposing the War in Iraq under George Bush, and in 2010, he aligned with
the Libertarian Party after an encounter at the Atlanta Pride Festival.
Since then, he has run for Congress in Georgia’s 5th district in 2020 and
for US Senate in 2022, advocating for critical issues such as Ranked Choice
Voting.
CHASE OLIVER’S PLATFORM
Chase Oliver’s vision for America is bold and transformative. Here are

_1. IMMIGRATION REFORM FOR THE 21ST CENTURY_
* Simplifying the immigration process to an Ellis Island-style system.
* Creating a simpler path to citizenship for immigrants already here.

* Ending qualified immunity for federal law enforcement.
* Abolishing federal mandatory minimum sentencing.

by federal agencies.

* Closing all overseas bases and bringing troops home.
* Ending aid to nations at war and supporting private aid efforts.
* Using trade as a tool for peace and acting as a mediator in conflicts.
_7. RESTORING ECONOMIC PROSPERITY_
* Ending tariffs and special protections for industries.
* Opposing government bailouts for irresponsible businesses.
* Advocating for a Balanced Budget Amendment to end deficit spending.
_8. EMPOWERING PARENTS AND STUDENTS IN EDUCATION_
* Abolishing the Department of Education and returning funds to states.
* Ending federal involvement in student loans to lower education costs.
_9. ENDING THE STUDENT DEBT CRISIS_
* Making student loans interest-free and dischargeable in bankruptcy.
* Redirecting funds from military spending to alleviate student debt.
_10. CHAMPIONING GUN RIGHTS_
* Opposing new gun restrictions and repealing existing ones.
* Appointing judges who protect the right to self-defense.
_11. LOWERING HEALTHCARE COSTS_
* Removing limits on Health Savings Accounts.
