Hello comrade,

Summer is getting hot in West Tennessee, and with it our work is heating up as well. Now is a great time to get involved if you are not already active.

You and guests can attend two meetings next week: our General Meeting on Tuesday 6-11, and the Workplace Organizing Committee on Monday 6-10. Both meetings will take place at RP Tracks in Memphis.

Our general meetings are chances to introduce and pass resolutions as well as other measures. Members can vote, but guests are welcome to attend.

Come and make your voice heard to help chart the development of this chapter!

Among other things, this meeting will include:

• Report backs from our Legislative Action Committee and Workplace Organizing Committee
• A report from members participating in the Organizing for Power training alongside thousands of organizers internationally.
• The first reading of a resolution on mutual aid in Memphis.

Our WOC has been busy making, and then beginning to execute, a plan to support existing labor organizations in West Tennessee with an aim to align contract negotiations for May 1 2028. Its active participants have also been participating in the Organizing for Power training. The committee hopes to be prepared to assist any members or other workers involved in new unionization efforts.

Please attend, bring your ideas, and help make this committee's efforts successful.
