Hey there, Happy Pride Month!

June is an opportunity to celebrate the progress we've made in the fight for LGBTQ+ equality. Over the years, we have seen monumental achievements in securing rights and protections for the LGBTQ+ community.

During his time as Governor, Phil Murphy has codified marriage equality into state law, established New Jersey as a gender-affirming care safe haven, and required LGBTQ+ history to be taught in public schools — just to name a few achievements. 

New Jersey has become a beacon of hope and inclusivity. We have taken significant steps towards making life more equal and fair for all individuals, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. Our state boasts stronger anti-discrimination laws, increased access to health care, and improved support systems for LGBTQ+ youth. 

But we also recognize that there is still work to be done. 

The fight for equality is ongoing, and we are up against powerful forces that seek to undermine the progress we have made. LGBTQ+ individuals continue to face discrimination, violence, and barriers to full equality. That's why it's crucial for us to stand together and continue pushing for change.
