Dear Friends,
Yesterday, the United States Senate held a vote on the Right to Contraception Act, legislation that affirms the right for people to access contraception and for providers to provide it along with information and resources. Unfortunately, with 60 votes needed to overcome the filibuster and a final vote yesterday of 51-39, the Right to Contraception Act was blocked from moving forward.
Every person deserves the right to access and use the birth control method of their choice, and we thank the Senate champions who are working towards making that a reality. Contact your Senators ([link removed]) and thank them for their support or encourage them to support contraception access in the future.
Take Action ([link removed])
Sincerely,
Monica
