June 30 is a really important end-of-quarter fundraising deadline for most
political campaigns — but it’s especially crucial for ours. It’s our final
end-of-quarter deadline before the primary.
After the June 30 deadline, our campaign is required to submit a public
fundraising report to the Federal Elections Commission (FEC). This report
will show our supporters and opponents the strength of our movement
heading into the primary election on September 10.
If we fail to post a strong report that shows we can win in September AND
November, it could encourage right-wing super PACs and special interests
to dump money into trying to defeat us.
That’s why we’re reaching out to ask you for your support before the FEC
report is due.
