We’ll miss seeing your face at the gala but we’re taking a break so we can focus on reaching more children.
Love146 really needs your help right now. We've decided not to have a gala in 2024 to focus on the kids. Your gift today will have 2x the impact: Will you support us in ending child trafficking, ([link removed]) even without the party?

We’re not hosting a gala this spring. Here’s why:

We’ll miss seeing your lovely face at the gala (though the introverts are a little bit pumped), but we’re taking a break so we can focus on reaching more children.

Hmm? I got questions:
😕 Is there a gala or not?
No. There is no gala this year. But we hope that people still choose to be generous even without one!
🤔 Then what is happening on June 21st?
Literally nothing. Not a physical gala. Not a virtual gala. Just relax and do whatever you want (and please donate instead of attending!)
😞 I look forward to The Red Gala. What happened?
It takes a lot of staff time and resources to make our galas memorable, and we needed a break. Also… the introverts.
😌 Even if you’re not holding a real gala, can I still contribute?
Yes! Because we’re not spending money on things like decorations, feeding our guests, and hosting a cocktail hour, 100% of your donation will help combat child trafficking!
😓 But I’m gonna miss getting a dose of that special Love146 hopefulness up close. Does this mean there won’t be any more of your inspiring Red Galas?
We’re already planning our next gala — a REAL one — in Connecticut in 2025! Be sure to keep an eye on your email for details.
😍 I’m in! How do I give?
