BJA 40th Anniversary - Celebrating 40 years of justice and safety [ [link removed] ]
"Excellence in the Field of Criminal Justice Awards [ [link removed] ]"

The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) invites you to nominate individuals, teams, organizations, and agencies for the "Excellence in the Field of Criminal Justice Awards [ [link removed] ]". These awards recognize outstanding innovations and significant contributions to our Nation?s criminal justice system.???

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Justice Assistance Act of 1984 that established BJA. BJA was created with the mission of supporting local, state, and tribal efforts to reduce crime, create safer communities, and reform our Nation?s criminal justice system.?

As part of BJA?s 40th anniversary celebration and to honor our mission, we are recognizing those who have made a lasting impact on public safety and justice reform.??

Help us celebrate our 40th anniversary by nominating a deserving individual, team, organization, or agency for BJA?s "Excellence in the Field of Criminal Justice Awards "today.

Enacted in 1976, the PSOB Program provides death, disability, and education benefits to those eligible for the program.
