This week, our part-time senator Ted Cruz decided to take a break from podcasting to post a photo op of himself with the 19th Amendment — which granted women the right to vote following years of activism by the women’s suffrage movement.
Now, ordinarily this wouldn't garner much attention from us, John. But the replies to Ted have been less than great to say the least. Just take a look for yourself: ⬇️😲

This is the kind of world Ted Cruz’s biggest fans want to live in, John. And just as a reminder, this is also the world Ted wants to live in. This is the same guy that:
- Just yesterday, voted against a bill that would have protected contraception access
- Voted against the reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act
- Has a long history of making misogynistic remarks
It’s not hard to see how the apple(s) don’t fall from the tree.
Ted Cruz never misses an opportunity for a random (and disingenuous) photo-op, John. But he has failed to protect women every time he has been provided an opportunity to do so. It's time we kick him out of office for good.
