DES to temporarily close 15th Avenue Southwest from Capitol Way to Columbia Street
Where:
- 15th Avenue Southwest between Capitol Way and Columbia Street.
What's happening:
- Crews will remove existing asphalt, regrade and repave the portion of 15th Avenue Southwest from Capitol Way to Columbia Street.
Impact:
- 15th Avenue Southwest will be closed to all traffic from Capitol Way through the intersection of Columbia Street.
- The sidewalk on the north side of 15th Avenue Southwest will be closed.
- The small alley behind homes on the east side of Columbia Street that connects with 15th Avenue Southwest will be closed to vehicle traffic.
When:
All work is weather dependent. The Washington State Department of Enterprise Services has contracted with Hoffman Construction at Seattle for this effort.
