Did you hear the news? Kathy Hochul’s congestion tax, which would have charged New Yorkers an unaffordable fee to commute into lower Manhattan, was set to take effect on 6/30. Hochul is now delaying implementation of the tax, because she knows this plan will hurt vulnerable Democrats in November.

There were already a million reasons why Hochul is the worst Governor in America, but now she wants to delay her new congestion tax just to get through the election and then PUT THE SCREWS to voters immediately afterwards.

My message to Kathy Hochul: Kill your congestion tax!

We can’t afford more taxes, and for many hardworking residents already reaching their breaking point in this state, Hochul’s new tax could be the final straw.

Congestion pricing has failed abroad and it is going to fail New Yorkers next. Hochul should listen to the voices of New Yorkers from all walks of life and permanently scrap this disastrous attack on everyone’s wallets.
