Darius Kicked Off His 2024 Congressional Campaign with a Diner Tour Across New Jersey's 12th District, with More to Come This Summer That the “government of the people, by the people, for the people shall not perish from the earth.” - Abraham Lincoln |

Darius Mayfield kicked off his much-anticipated return to the campaign trail with a Diner Tour across District 12 following his success in the last election when he won all four County Lines as the district’s only Republican Congressional candidate. |

More on Darius’ Diner Tour, but first a look at Memorial Day weekend. |

At Jamesburg’s Memorial Day celebrations, Darius warmly thanked American veterans and their families for all their sacrifices for this great country. |

Americans live, work, and play with a certain quality of life that many nations can only dream of because these selfless souls are willing to risk their lives in the name of liberty and freedom. Darius also paid honor to our fallen heroes, often our unsung heroes, with the aim of keeping their memory alive for future generations. And it is up to all of us now - at this moment of history - to stand up for what is right and for our shared values so that - in the words of of the great Republican President Abraham Lincoln - the “government of the people, by the people, for the people shall not perish from the earth.” |

Earlier in May, the National Police Defense Foundation invited Darius to its gala in Queens where he received the full endorsement of Somerset-based GRMTAC, a law enforcement training and defense company, headed by Wayne Brown and based in N.J.’s 12th Congressional District. |

On May 11th, Darius attended President Trump’s historic Wildwood, New Jersey rally, which drew an estimated 80,000 people. Accompanied by a few of his hard-working team-mates, Darius loved every minute of it. |

But it was in March 2024 when Darius embarked on his ‘Diner Tour’ to spread his ‘Common Sense’ message. Like an old-fashioned whistle-stop tour, Darius made the rounds at diners in Bridgewater, Hillsborough, Cranbury, East Brunswick, Old Bridge and Princeton where people came out in droves to share hopes of waving ‘bye-bye’ to failing Democratic politicians and their policies that have led to rising crime and prices. |

**Election day is November 5, 2024, but early voting takes place up to ten days beforehand. If you haven’t registered to vote, please do so soon with your local township. Contact your township or local board of elections for more details.** Darius made 16 stops in all including at Princeton’s The Blue Bears Cafe, which employs a talented staff of young individuals with special needs, Pat’s Diner in Trenton, and The New Ewing Diner in Ewing. |

“It’s time to retire the past and elect leaders ready to put Americans and America first,” Mayfield said at one diner. “New Jersey Republicans have been making real gains the last three to five years so I will continue to build on that by focusing on real issues like rising crime and homelessness.” “Bonnie Watson Coleman and Democrats spend more time on LGTBQ and identity politics than stopping wars, protecting the most vulnerable among us, and dealing with issues that affect all Americans,” he said. “Let’s get back to common sense!” To listen to Darius’ full talk at a diner in Bridgewater, please click here: https://photos.onedrive.com/share/2458287822717DBB!10758?cid=2458287822717DBB&resId=2458287822717DBB!10758&authkey=!AOUkoKX8H3hqY0Y&ithint=video |
