Friend, last week, a Manhattan jury found Trump guilty on all 34 felony counts of falsifying business records to cover up campaign finance violations during the 2016 election.

Twelve ordinary American citizens held Donald Trump accountable and branded him a felon. Proving that no one – not even a former President of the United States or (professed) billionaire – is above the law.

And despite Trump’s efforts to distract, delay, and deny justice — it arrived for Donald Trump all the same.

Here’s my takeaway:

Our system of justice worked. Our rule of law withstood the immense pressure Trump brought to bear. And there was accountability.

Winning the presidency may now be the only thing remaining between Trump and avoiding prison time — in this case or others — and he has shown he will tear down the entire system of American democracy to protect himself and return to power. WE MUST NOT LET HIM.
