About the job
The?Contracts Specialist 3?independently performs a variety of complex contract administration duties (design-bid-build, GC/CM, JOC, Design Build and A/E agreements) as the Lead Contracts Specialist for DES?s core capital program and DOC/DSHS programs. This role ensures that the negotiated consultant fees are within OFM guidelines or are authorized through proper channels and advises the project manager of any contract compliance issues.
This position will support two locations in person: Department of Corrections Headquarters, and 1500 Jefferson Building.
