Why do some people think that COVID jabs are to blame for an increase in excess deaths?
[link removed] Excess deaths are not associated with COVID vaccines.
The usual suspects....
What are Excess Deaths?
Wait, what do they mean by 'excess deaths?'
> "Excess deaths are typically defined as the difference between the observed numbers of deaths in specific time periods and expected numbers of deaths in the same time periods."
>
> Excess Deaths Associated with COVID-19
During the COVID pandemic, there were a lot of excess deaths or excess mortality simply because COVID caused a lot of people to die!
What many people are talking about these days aren't those excess deaths though, they are talking about any increases in excess deaths over and above those caused by COVID infections.
And it does seem like there has been an increase in deaths. For that, you can thank anti-vaccine influencers ( [link removed] ) who post about each and every death, blaming them on COVID vaccines.
Are COVID Jabs to Blame for an Increase in Excess Deaths?
So it's good that studies are being done to look at the cause of these excess deaths.
Studies like this one:
> "The temporal correlations we observed suggest that many excess deaths reported to non-COVID-19 natural causes during the first 30 mo of the pandemic in the United States were unrecognized COVID-19 deaths."
>
> Excess natural-cause mortality in US counties and its association with reported COVID-19 deaths
And that we can look at data like this from the European Union:
[link removed] A negative excess mortality rate means that there were fewer deaths than usual for that time period. If COVID vaccines were causing these excess deaths, why would we see fewer deaths in Feb 2023 and then excess deaths start to rise again?
The chart above is about excess deaths. It is very easy to see that it doesn't correlate ( [link removed] ) at all with the number of COVID vaccines that were given in the EU, as you would expect if COVID vaccine harms were behind any rise in excess deaths.
[link removed] COVID vaccination levels in the EU have gotten quite low in the past year, even as excess deaths rose at the end of 2023 - as cases of COVID once again surged!
It does correlate ( [link removed] ) very well with cases of COVID!
[link removed] Excess deaths are clearly correlated with COVID infections.
Excess deaths have been mostly caused by COVID.
> "Despite the advances in diagnostics and therapeutics in 2020 and the rapid development of vaccines throughout the year, the end of 2020 saw the permeation of the virus into highly populous societies that had previously suffered limited exposure. In 2021, the rise in infections outpaced the roll-out of vaccines in many such locations and this either led to or was worsened by the emergence of more infectious, higher fatality, SARS-CoV-2 strains such as the Delta variant. We can speculate about how vaccine hesitancy, premature relaxation of containment measures and a global COVID-19 ‘fatigue’ contributed to how the pandemic developed but this is an important area for further study."

So don't be fooled by anti-vaccine propaganda ( [link removed] ) that is trying to link COVID vaccines to deaths ( [link removed] ) , blood clots ( [link removed] ) , turbo cancer ( [link removed] ) , accelerated aging ( [link removed] ) , and anything else they can think of.
