Dear John--

While the Governor’s executive order declared the suspension of in-person learning and addressed many big-picture concerns such as testing and deadlines for K-12 students and teachers, it also leaves a lot of room for individual districts to make their own plans around continuity of learning, special education and more based on what works best for their communities.

That’s why we hope you can join us tomorrow at 10 a.m. for a Virtual Education Town Hall with Downriver Superintendents. We’ll be joined by Superintendents from each school district across HD 23 and will be discussing plans moving forward and what that will mean for students and parents.

To join, you can watch on Facebook live, via Zoom by clicking here or by phone when you call (312) 626-6799 and enter code 211 641 650#.

Best,

Rep. Darrin Camilleri
