With the conviction of Donald Trump on 34 felony counts, it is clear that no one is above the law. This is a reminder of the critical importance of integrity and accountability in our leaders.

Unfortunately, our current Senator Roger Wicker was quick to embrace, endorse, and enable Donald Trump despite overwhelming evidence of his wrongdoing.

This is a betrayal of the trust that voters place in their elected officials. By aligning himself with a convicted felon, Senator Wicker has shown a blatant disregard for the values of justice and integrity that we hold dear.

As a veteran who has dedicated my life to serving our country, I believe in the rule of law and the fundamental principles that underpin our democracy. We need leaders who will stand up for what is right, not those who will turn a blind eye to corruption and criminal behavior.

It is time for a new chapter in our leadership — one that prioritizes the well-being of our communities over partisan loyalty. As your U.S. Senator, I will always fight for justice, accountability, and the best interests of people over party.
