Secretary of State's Office Announces End of Candidate Filing Period for 2024 Election
? ? ?CHEYENNE, WY?? Friday, May 31st marked the end of the candidate filing period for candidates to file their Application for Nomination for the 2024 Primary Election. Major party candidates for the office of U.S. Senator, U.S. Representative, Wyoming State Senator (even numbered districts), and Wyoming State Representative were required to file with the Secretary of State?s Elections Division in order to stand for election in the 2024 Primary Election, which will take place on Tuesday, August 20th. The 2024 Primary Election Candidate Roster can be found on the Secretary of State?s Election Center website.
? ? ??We had a great candidate filing period to kick off Wyoming?s 2024 Election Cycle, in which we have seen a number of candidates file with our office,? Secretary of State Chuck Gray said. ?Our office is focused on continuing to serve the people of Wyoming and working to administer a great election here in Wyoming.?
