Patriot,

Even though the ideas of socialism are burning through our education system
like wildfire, I can show you how to blanket them with a single pencil.

Let me introduce myself. I am Lawrence Reed, President Emeritus of the
Foundation for Economic Education (FEE).Over the years, I’ve learned that a
pencil is a great tool for teaching the next generation about economics.

* Everyone knows what one is, but no single person can make one.
* They are everywhere because they are so cheap to produce, even though it
took thousands of people to create.
* It is a simple device that helps demonstrate several complex ideas on why
centrally planned economies will never work.
No one understood this better than FEE’s founder, Leonard Read. In his classic
essay, “I, Pencil,” Read beautifully illustrates the marvelous
interconnectivity of the marketplace, all told from the viewpoint of a common
pencil.

I believe the ideas in this book are so powerful that I will send you a copy
of "I, Pencil." if you donate $10 or more to the Foundation of Economic
Education this week!

“I, Pencil” is also a great example of the resources we use to educate the
next generation through our flagship program, FEE in the Classroom.

FEE in the Classroom counters socialist indoctrination by teaching young
Americans the principles of individual liberty, limited government, and
free-market economics.

FEE’s faculty of acclaimed instructors provides compelling lectures, exciting
economic experiments, engaging group discussions, Q&As, and educational
materials, like “I, Pencil,” in brick-and-mortar and virtual classrooms across
the country.

And just like “I, Pencil,” FEE in the Classroom opens the eyes and minds of
young people. For many students, they are never able to see the world quite the
same again!

Patriot, I have a long history of using “I, Pencil” to fight socialism.

Before the collapse of the Soviet Empire, I smuggled books across the Iron
Curtain (and raised money to support book smuggling) into Eastern European
countries such as Poland and even the Soviet Union itself.

I knew I was risking my liberty or even my life if I was caught.

But I also knew if the people there had any hope of freeing themselves from
the shackles of socialism, they needed access to the ideas of liberty and free
markets.

I used “I, Pencil” then to keep up the fight against socialism across the
world. Now, I’m using this book to fight socialism here in the United States.

My goal is to raise $50,000 by giving away copies of “I, Pencil” to our
generous donors. Your gift helps FEE build a future of freedom with the next
generation through our programs like FEE in the Classroom.

I encourage you to donate $10, $25, $50, or more today and get your copy of
"I, Pencil."Click here to claim your copy >>>
