We invite our members and colleagues who are unable to attend our June 7, 2024 Annual Meeting in person to view our remarkable lineup of speakers and panelist via a live webcast.

Please register to receive the link for the webcast by email.

The event will be webcast from the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. ET on Friday, June 7.

Rep. Garamendi will open the event live via video with remarks on cost-effective alternatives to the U.S. nuclear modernization program and why we need to redouble efforts to engage Russia and China in talks on nuclear arms control.

Pranay Vaddi, senior director for arms control, disarmament, and nonproliferation at the National Security Council, will provide an update on the administration’s efforts since National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan’s proposals on nuclear deterrence unveiled in his speech at the ACA Annual Meeting last year.

UN Secretary-General António Guterres will deliver remarks via video. In recent weeks, Mr. Guterres has warned about a resurgence of nuclear threats, noting that: "The nuclear risk is higher than at any moment since the depths of the Cold War … And the vital norms and standards against the proliferation, testing, and use of nuclear weapons are being eroded.”
