Liberal Democrats Just in from our target seats

Hello John,

I spent this morning looking at the latest private polling in our most
winnable seats.

Here is the chart I am most worried about.

In seats like this one, we will win if people understand that Liberal
Democrats are the clear challengers to the Conservatives locally.

Our polling shows that Labour-leaning and former Conservatives voters will
back us in their thousands to get rid of this awful Government.

John, people over 45 have got the tactical voting message in these seats. They
have seen our literature and tend to have lived in the area for longer.





But too many voters under 45 have not yet realised that only we can beat the
Conservatives in their area.

Many of them have moved into the area recently, live in rented accommodation
and are about to waste their vote.

John, thousands of these voters will make up their minds in the next 10 days.

We have to reach them now.
