John,
The ACLJ continues to expose the far Left's relentless attacks on religious liberty. Unfortunately, anti-Christian forces, even within our government, are targeting Christians – spying on churches and shutting down Bible studies in public places.
We must never forget that God is on our side. That's why Romans 8:31–39 is one of the most encouraging passages in the Bible:
If God is for us, who can be against us? . . . For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:31, 38–39)
The Apostle Paul reminds us that God is for us and that nothing on earth – including earthly governments and powers – can separate us from His love. We can take comfort in this promise.
