I’ve fought to expand the Child Tax Credit at the federal level for years.

It’s a win-win policy. When Congress temporarily expanded the Child Tax Credit in 2021, it benefitted 62 million kids across the country, including 1 million in Colorado. It cut child poverty nationwide nearly in half.

Republicans in Congress let it expire after a year, but I haven’t given up the fight to make it permanent.

This common-sense policy gives working families the breathing room they need. It helps parents make ends meet and provide more opportunities for their kids.

Colorado is leading the way in creating an economy that works for everyone, not just the people at the top.
