Tell your legislator to fund Opportunity Scholarships

There’s no time to waste.

Too many families don’t know where their children will go to school this fall.

All because of our government’s inaction.

A record 72,000 families applied for Opportunity Scholarships this year.

But lawmakers in the House are kicking the can down the road and waiting until the end of the summer to fund this essential program. ([link removed])

That means these families and schools don’t know if their kids will receive scholarships.

And, this isn’t a new trend. Governor Cooper has continuously attacked Opportunity Scholarships, falsely claiming they rob public schools of money.

We need to stand up to Cooper’s ridiculous rhetoric and get our kids the education they deserve.
