Yesterday our justice system acted accordingly. Donald Trump was found guilty on all 34 charges against him. I am thankful that he has been tried and handled accordingly. However, this is not a time of celebration. As Democrats, we are still under attack. There are Republicans all over the country that will continue to push Donald Trump's behavior, and say our justice system made a “mistake”.
We need to think about the future. This election year is very important. The MAGA movement is still a big threat to our democracy. If we don't do something, they could take over more parts of our government and make things worse than it has been.
My opponent chooses to stand with the heavily convicted. But I'm choosing to stand against both of them. John, that's why I'm reaching out. My campaign last election season was at numerous disadvantages, still, we almost won half the vote.
