Yesterday’s news is historic:
Donald Trump was found guilty on ALL 34 counts. This is the first time a former president – and current presidential candidate – has been convicted of a crime.
No one is above the law in this country.
But my opponent MAGA Rep. Mike Garcia, who voted to overturn the election in 2020, is now casting doubt on American law enforcement after his candidate for President was convicted unanimously by a citizen jury. This is dangerous and unacceptable.
We need a representative in CA-27 who is focused on the needs of our district, who wants to lower costs and protect our communities, respects law and order, and believes self-serving politics does not belong on the taxpayers’ time and dime. Garcia is focused on defending Trump, rather than helping us.
This will be a battle. Our race is rated as one of the most competitive in the entire country, and extreme Republicans are more fired up than ever to protect Trump and his enablers like Mike Garcia.
