“I’m an everyday SW Washingtonian who was driven to action during

COVID-19. I fight for my conservative values in and out of the city

council chambers, and that’s why I’m running for Congress – because

we need a real person who understands our problems to fight for us in
Congress.”

In May, Leslie OFFICIALLY filed to run for Washington's third congressional
district seat, met with America’s TOP leaders to strategize a win, released an
OUTSTANDING op-ed in the Daily Caller, andmost importantly, prioritized
conversations with voters like you!

Leslie is tirelessly fighting for the values that our district deserves and
will not stop until we see a win this November and a SECURED Republican House
majority!

She believes that Southwest Washington deserves better representation, and
vows to focus ontransparency, accountability, and effective leadership as the
next representative of WA-03.

What Leslie has been up to this month:

On Thursday, May 16th, The Daily News published an article
<[link removed]>
by Brennen Kauffman that highlighted the different positions for each
candidate in Washington's 3rd Congressional District race. The disastrous
collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore Harbor has put renewed
attention on the bridges of Southwest Washington.Leslie Lewallen, as a voting
member of the Regional Transportation Commission from 2022-2024, had a
front-row seat on this issue, and has been a strong voice for the residents
impacted most by the I-5 bridge replacement project.

Beyond the bridges, Leslie has been a vocal proponent of Washington's timber
industry, both for the jobs it provides and the role responsible tree
harvesting plays in the overall health of the area's forests…

"There's a liberal misconception that a hands-off approach is the best way to
preserve and protect our environment. That's not based on science or what we
see at the local level,' Lewallen said."
