Irving, TX - At our Ways and Means Field Hearing in Erie, PA, I made clear that President Biden has already raised taxes on all Americans. Bidenomics has crushed wage growth while skyrocketing inflation - the people harmed the most are working folks who make nowhere near $400K.

On Monday we observed Memorial Day, a time to remember and honor those who have sacrificed their lives for the American people and United States of America.

On Tuesday, North Texas was ravaged by severe weather causing massive damage across the region. Half a million people in our state are still suffering from power outages and debris throughout our communities. I hope you'll join me in continuing to pray for those most affected by the damage and flooding. Our office has compiled resources for North Texans affected by the recent storms:

It was great seeing Dr. Seemal Desai from Dallas during our Ways and Means Health Subcommittee hearing to discuss solutions to burdensome regulations hurting private practices.

I was happy to join my colleagues in sending a letter to the Department of Education to push back on President Biden’s illegal transfer of wealth before voting YES on H.R. 5403.

H.R. 5403 is the Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) Anti-Surveillance State Act, which would ban the Federal Reserve from issuing a digital currency and using it as a tool to control the economy by implementing monetary policy.

I also had a great time meeting with TX-24 financial professionals in town with Finseca to discuss their work providing financial planning tools to help North Texans.

Thursday was a dark and deeply perilous day for our country as the weaponization of the judicial system reached such a demented and fascist level when a former President and leading Presidential candidate was politically persecuted to deliver a guilty verdict. We will take our country back and stop the radical Democrats from doing more harm to our nation. You can my read my thoughts on yesterday’s verdict by clicking here.

I loved seeing another #TX24 resident and Dallas’ Firm Director of 1847Financial, Joel Carson, to discuss the burdensome Fiduciary 3.0 rule from the Department of Labor that will hamper the financial security and create uncertainty for North Texans retirement account.

Today, I led a bipartisan group of more than two dozen of my colleagues to urge the FAA and DOT to swiftly form the working group outlined to review the safety and efficiency of life saving organ transportation. You can read more in the Work of the Week section below.

This week, we celebrated 100 years of the U.S. Border Patrol! Thank you to the brave men and women risking their lives to protect the American people and security of our great nation.
