Here’s the deal, I’d rather focus on our targeting, mobilization, and persuasion efforts, but the reason why our fundraising efforts are so critical is because hitting our goals means we get to continue doing all this and more. This month, we set a $10,000 fundraising goal and our deadline is tonight at midnight. We’re not quite where we want to be, but I’m confident we can hit it — with your help.

I just crunched the numbers, and if every single person who opened this email just donated even $1, we'd have more than quadrupled our fundraising goal. If 5,000 of you donated just $2, we’ll have reached our goal.

Our average donation amount from our emails is $16.43, and if even just 500 of you donated $16.43, we’ll have reached our goal for May as we speak. Really.
