This Week's Highlights

Monday

Every WFW PAC-endorsed woman took time out to honor the brave men and women who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country on Memorial Day.

One candidate, Julie Fedorchak (ND-AL), visited North Dakota Veterans Cemetery to pay special tribute to her late father and mother who are buried there.

Tuesday

Last week, we shared news that the House overwhelmingly passed legislation Rep. Ashley Hinson (IA-02) authored to ensure expecting moms receive quality prenatal care.

Hinson did local interviews this past week to get the word out about her bill, which will hopefully head to President Biden's desk by the end of this Congress.

Wednesday

After the Biden administration proposed lowering the amount of milk provided to WIC families, Congress instructed U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack not to do so.

Despite this, Vilsak ignored the Congressional Director. GOP Conference Chairwoman Elise Stefanik penned a letter demanding answers.

Thursday

Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) met with Iowans and heard about issues of importance to them and their state.

Ernst recently exposed the Biden Administration's electric vehicle boondoggle: a $7.5 billion grant in 2021 to build EV charging stations and only two had opened by the end of 2023.
