Big Oil Wants You to Breathe Dirty Air While It Lines Its
Pockets

The oil and gas industry's legislative allies seek to use the
Congressional Review Act (CRA) to overturn the EPA's recent clean
car and clean truck standards. These standards help protect our
families from dangerous pollution while steering us toward a
safer climate.

A vote for any CRA resolution that seeks to roll back these or
any vital standards to curb climate-busting pollution is a vote
against public health, the environment, and the economy.

Tell your lawmakers to vote NO on attempts to repeal the EPA's
clean vehicles and other critical standards to protect us from

The EPA finalized groundbreaking new clean car and clean
truck standards this past spring, putting us on a path to reduce
harmful vehicle pollution and protect public health all while
saving drivers money.

Now Big Oil is using their extremist Republican allies in
Congress to attack these lifesaving, commonsense standards.

Congress needs to protect clean air and safeguard public
health. Urge your lawmakers to stand up to Big Oil and reject
these attempts to roll back clean vehicle standards and other

Federal standards to limit vehicle pollution aren't new or
unusual. In fact, the federal government has been setting
emissions standards for motor vehicles to help reduce emissions
from cars and trucks since 1966. The latest clean car and clean
truck standards are a part of the EPA's fundamental mission to
reduce emissions and protect public health.

These blatantly political attempts to roll back clean car
and truck standards, not to mention many other critical climate
standards recently issued by the Biden administration, would be a
huge gift to giant fossil fuel companies at the expense of the
health and safety of the American people.
