Dear John,

We wanted to share with our community that our Executive Director Sarah Preston will be departing this June after almost eight years with Lillian's List. We will miss Sarah's strong leadership, but are so excited for her as she moves on to work with the national American Civil Liberties Union in Washington, DC.

From Christine Kushner, our Foundation Board Chair: "Sarah has provided exceptional leadership to Lillian's List for eight years, setting us up for continued success. She's been especially effective supporting women who have been leaders in our state fighting for reproductive freedom and gender equity. We're excited for her to take her brilliance and leadership to the national level! We wish her the very best!"

From Sarah: "It has been a privilege to lead such a powerful organization and work with the team to truly change the face of power in North Carolina. I will certainly miss Lillian's List and the many amazing leaders I have worked with over the years. I know that I will always be a part of the Sisterhood and I look forward to seeing what this organization does next!"

To ensure a smooth transition, our Director of Leadership Programs Montica Talmadge will be serving as Interim Executive Director beginning on June 15. Thank you Montica for stepping up to this important role! 

Sarah is leaving us in a great place to expand our impact. We can't wait to see what is next for the organization! As always, thank you for your continuing support.
