Hi Friend,
Thanks to your incredible support, our one-of-a-kind Flying Eye Hospital will be touching down in Bangladesh in November for a two-week opthalmic training project. Recently, Orbis team members gathered to start planning. First in the capital city, Dhaka—meeting with the Opthalmic Society of Bangladesh, then traveling to Chattogram to visit our partner hospital, Chittagong Eye Infirmary and Training Complex, where the training project will be hosted.
Our Flying Eye Hospital planning team met local training participants to get a good idea of their training requirements, so we can ensure they get the most out of the project by tailoring the curriculum to their specific needs.
A big thank you to our team members in Bangladesh and you, our wonderful supporters, for helping us bring world-class eye care training to Bangladesh. Together, we can give more people access to the eye care they deserve.
