Friend — tomorrow at midnight, we’ll close the books on our May fundraising campaign — and this is happening at a really critical moment. MAGA Republicans in both the House and Senate just introduced legislation to gut limits on pollution from power plants and seriously weaken the Endangered Species Act.

And that’s not all, Friend. As this is happening, Republicans are also intensifying their efforts in Congress to overturn limits on hazardous tailpipe pollution from vehicles AND hasten a massive build-out of new liquefied methane gas (LNG) export infrastructure.

If we’re not able to respond with everything we have, it would mean putting fundamental environmental protections in serious jeopardy. LCV’s teams are on Capitol Hill right now, meeting with members of Congress and their staff, and going toe-to-toe with Big Oil’s army of lobbyists who are flooding lawmakers with misinformation.
