Wrapping Up The Film Friendly Texas Forum
Hi Res FFTX Forum

On May 16, we hosted the Film Friendly Texas Forum in New Braunfels and we're pleased to report that it was a roaring success!

We want to take this opportunity to give a huge, Texas-sized THANK YOU to everyone who participated across all three days of programming and helped us to pull this off. Events like this are only successful thanks to the efforts of many, many people and so we specifically want to thank:

* Sammie Martinek and The Greater New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce Convention and Visitors Bureau.
* All of our incredible sponsors: The Texas Motion Picture Alliance, the Texas Association of Film Commissions, Bastrop County and MBSE.
* The top-tier organizations that participated in our Vendor Exhibit Hall: The Texas Archive of the Moving Image, the Shine Company, Women in Film and Television Austin, 11 Productions, White Rhino VFX and First Take.
* Each guest speaker, who graciously donated their time to participate: Isaac Yowman, LeAnn Jackson, Laura Kincaid, Amy Miskovsky, Sharon Arteaga and Fran Hunter.
* The vendors who have worked with us over many, many months to provide the goods and services necessary for an event like this: Miscellaneous Rentals, UT Document Solutions, Mi Frijoles Catering Company Street Tacos and Forty Six Coffee, Cafe & Catering*.*
* Our colleagues David Brown and Margaret Buentello from the Office of Compliance and Monitoring, who pitched in to help with logistics.
* And of course all of our attendees, without whom the Forum would have only been a dream!

We're so proud to have been able to host the Film Friendly Texas Forum and are endlessly grateful to all those who helped to make this happen.?

Want to learn about the Film Friendly Texas Certified Community program? You're in luck - the Forum may have passed, but our Film Friendly Texas information is available year-round. Hit the button below and take a look today!
