Just in April and May: 

In Brazil, torrential rains unleashed catastrophic floods that swallowed hundreds of towns across the southern Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul. The floods have killed over 100 and displaced over 600,000.

A record-breaking heat scorched Southeast Asia. In the Philippines and in Bangladesh, authorities closed many public schools. Bangladesh experienced its hottest April since records began. Hundreds of temperature records were shattered in Vietnam. The list of devastating impacts goes on. 

If we’re going to have a livable planet for generations to come, we have to act. Now.
