Folks, The New Yorker JUST released a deep exposé on Mitch McConnell -- and why he’s been untouchable for decades:
![The New Yorker: [McConnell] is the master of the Washington money machine. Nobody has done more than he has to engineer the current campaign-finance system, in which billionaires and corporations have virtually no spending limits, and self-dealing and influence-peddling are commonplace.](https://go.firemitchsaveamerica.com/page/-/FireMitch_041320_Mitch%20%281%29.jpg)
McConnell is one of the most unpopular senators in the country -- but he’s held on to power with one of the most successful fundraising operations in history.
He championed the Citizens United ruling that opened the door for giant corporations, billionaires, and dark money groups to pour unlimited amounts of money into our elections.
And as long as he continues to block federal legislation to tackle climate change, lower the costs of healthcare, and enact gun safety reforms, he’ll be able to count on a stream of cash from special interests in his campaign coffers.
Mitch wrote the book on big money in politics -- but we finally have the chance to take him down by helping to elect Democrat Amy McGrath (the race is a dead heat and we’re closing the gap on Mitch’s war chest!). Will you chip in to Fire Mitch, Save America so that we can defeat him for good this November?
Mitch McConnell is responsible for the “pay to play” politics that have broken Washington.
If we want our government to work for us again, our number ONE priority has to be getting him out of office.
We can’t do it without you,
Fire Mitch, Save America
