The Tour to Save Democracy is critical to building a better future for generations to come.

Here’s why:

Last year, I was in the Senate Gallery with a cohort of gun violence survivors and family members of kids who have been killed in shootings.

We watched Democrats bring three CRITICAL pieces of gun safety legislation – including a federal assault weapons ban – to the floor for a vote for the first time in YEARS.

Then, we watched gun-lobby-backed Republicans BLOCK all three bills.

And our country watched TWO mass shootings happen at the very same time this was unfolding in the Senate.

Republicans have proven they are incapable of taking action against gun violence.

That’s why the Tour to Save Democracy is stopping in 21 vulnerable Republican-held districts to elect gun safety Democrats in their place who WILL take action to protect our communities. → Established the FIRST-EVER White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention.

→ Passed the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, the biggest gun safety bill in DECADES.

→ Signed DOZENS of executive orders to protect our communities from gun violence.

…And so much more.

But Trump BRAGGED about doing NOTHING to protect our communities from gun violence during his first term – when his inaction cost my cousin Alex his life.

And he even SWORE he would destroy all the progress our movement has made if he takes the White House back in November.
