** Gilbert & Sullivan’s H.M.S. Pinafore like you’ve never seen!
------------------------------------------------------------

Gilbert & Sullivan’s beloved light opera of love, duty, and the high seas makes its way to the Kansas prairie. Toe-tapping tunes, incredible choruses, and madcap plot twists have made H.M.S. Pinafore a staple of the operatic repertoire since its premiere in 1878.

Now’s your chance to catch it, as we sail into McPherson Opera House on May 31st and Wichita Riverfest on June 2nd. Can a simple sailor, lowly born win the hand of the captain’s daughter? Guess you’ll have to be there to find out!

But don’t just take our word for it — Opera Kansas is taking to the screen and the radio airwaves to talk everything H.M.S. Pinafore!
