“In the past, I’ve been through a whole lot and reading these words constantly gives me more strength to do what I really want to do in life. These words were given to me by my Love146 Social Worker for graduation, and it stuck with me.

Not a lot of people think about cherishing a day, especially if it’s a bad one. Life goes on and can get better! It made me think about the importance of enjoying my life as much as I can, no matter what! There were times where I wanted to give up but I dreamed of things being better, and it worked! I’ve been through a lot these past few years, but now I graduated and I’m moving into a career!”

Amaya continued,
