Trachoma is one of the leading causes of blindness in Ethiopia, but this infectious disease is entirely treatable with antibiotics.

With so many people in the country at risk of trachoma infection, your help is needed urgently.

Wondimu, a farmer, and his wife live in a village with no electricity, and they must travel over a mile for clean water. At a village screening, Wondimu found out that all four of his children had trachoma.

But a simple dose of antibiotics—a dose that costs less than $1—can prevent this sight-stealing disease.
