As we speak, the Minnesota Parents Alliance and their far-right allies are plotting to take control of school boards across Minnesota.
Their goal is simple: roll back protections for LGBTQ+ students, erase the much of the civil rights movement from our history classes, and ban books and discussions on a plethora of topics to warp students' education to fit their world view.
I don't think I need to tell you that we must stop it.
We're training candidates to run across the state right now; we've got more than 200 already committed to run, and are ready to give them the support they need to win.
We've got less than six-months to go. In fact, Friday is a huge deadline for us.
We need to make decisions about how many races we get involved in this summer and determine what kind of resources we have available for them.
I believe in what we're doing, it's deeply personal to me. So, I want to support as many candidates as possible as strongly as possible this year.
